This Torzon review is an editorial read, scored against fixed criteria, not a tally of user ratings. We judge what can be observed: the mirror uptime pattern, the signing practice, the escrow model, the phishing exposure, and how easy a clone is to catch.
The short version first
Torzon reads as a working Tor market with a sober security story and one real gap. Its escrow in Monero and its onion-only model are genuine strengths. Its weak point, for a reader, is that the signing key here is still pending, so the very check we recommend cannot be completed yet. Uptime swings the way most markets do.

Why each reading landed where it did
Mirror uptime pattern: Fair
The reference lists a primary plus failovers, which is the right shape for a Tor service. Mirrors come and go, and the page marks each one Checking until a probe answers rather than painting everything green. That honesty earns the Fair rather than a Weak, but constant churn keeps it from Strong.
PGP signing practice: Weak
This is the soft spot. A signing key is described and a verify command is shown, yet the fingerprint reads pending. Until that key is published, a reader cannot finish the one check that separates the canon from a clone. The design is right; the delivery is not there yet.
Monero escrow model: Strong
Payments settle in Monero and sit in escrow until an order clears. Monero raises the bar on tracing, and escrow gives a buyer a lever if a deal goes wrong. For a darknet market this is close to the expected best practice, so it takes the top reading.
Phishing resistance: Fair
A brand this visible attracts look-alikes. Working in Torzon’s favor: there is no clearnet storefront to spoof convincingly, and the reference ships a validator and a mirror list. Working against it: the missing signature leaves one clean check off the table for now.
Clone detection: Fair
A visitor gets real tools here, a URL validator and an exact mirror list, which is more than most references offer. The moment the PGP key is live, this reading should climb, because a signature is the strongest clone test there is.
How to tell the reference from a copy
Judge the link, not the layout. Compare the full onion against the signed list, character by character, and run it through the validator. A copy will match on looks and fail on the exact string. Once the signing key is published, add a PGP check and the question is settled.
